Bikinis in Brooklyn: WFAN’s Craig Carton & Boomer Esiason along with College Mansion girls!
January 8th, 2010

Frigid temperatures can’t hold back the College Mansion girls from storming NYC. With winter weather warnings set across the entire northeast section of the country, the mansion girls made their way to Brooklyn, New York to be featured on the popular “Boomer and Carton” radio show on WFAN 66 AM. Warm studio? Think again. This entire show was covered outside with over 4,000 screaming Jets fans on the Brooklyn Bridge with major media coverage’s CNN, CBS, NBC, ABC, Fox News, NY Times, among others.

Carton said during the "Boomer and Carton" show on WFAN back in October that the Jets would "never make the playoffs." The host, egged on by his co-host, former Jets quarterback Boomer Esiason, blustered on "if the Jets make the playoffs I'll walk across the Brooklyn Bridge whistling Dixie in a Speedo." It took the team until the last week of the season, aided by a pair of mail-it-in efforts by opponents resting starters, but the Jets got in and tomorrow they play the Cincinnati Bengals. Carton showed up at the bridge and alerted the media with the College Mansion girls in bikinis.

While most of the crowd had several layers of warm, winter clothing, the girls were walking warriors getting all of the fans ‘hyped’ by signing calendars, t-shirts and even jumbo Bud Light posters reading “CollegeMansion.com Loves Carton”. They weren’t accustomed to walking the Brooklyn Bridge with a marching band, cheerleaders and car horns beeping at them by opposing traffic as they’re normally rocking the clubs and bar life across the country. It was just simply madness and to a certain extent, insanity and ‘out of control’. Is anything ever normal though in the minds of the College Mansion crew?

Carton's co-host drove across the bridge. "I didn't make the mistake of saying the Jets wouldn't get to the playoffs. The bet was he'd have to walk across in his Speedo. I'm not doing that," Esiason said on the Manhattan side, as a high school marching band played "Flying High Now" behind him. Esiason, who played for both the Jets and Bengals, predicts the Jets will win "a slugfest, 16-13.

And as the girls continue to thaw out from today’s festivities, the fun continues here at the mansion.
